Bagmati Province Assembly Meeting Scheduled for Bhadra 1

Makwanpur. The Bagmati Province Assembly meeting is scheduled to be held on Bhadra 1. The Province Assembly Secretariat Hetauda issued a notice on Friday calling the Province Assembly meeting for Bhadra 1. According to Secretariat Spokesperson Prakash Chapagain, the Province Assembly meeting will be held at 1 PM on Bhadra 1. The agenda for the meeting is for the Province's Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniyan to seek a vote of confidence. The meeting, which is part of the eighth session of the Province Assembly, will have Chief Minister Baniyan present a proposal for a vote of confidence, he said. He stated that Chief Minister Baniyan is preparing to present the proposal for a vote of confidence in accordance with Article 188 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal and Rule 143 of the Province Assembly Rules, 2074. The Province Assembly Speaker has determined the date and time of the meeting in accordance with Rule 6 of the Province Assembly Rules, 2074, to discuss the proposal related to Chief Minister Baniyan's vote of confidence. Earlier, the Province Assembly meeting was held on Asar 20 to pass the budget for the current fiscal year of the provincial government. The Province Assembly meeting, which was postponed until further notice after that, will be held after 43 days.
