Government Implements New Strategy for Private Investment Protection and Promotion

Kathmandu. Due to continuous political instability, strikes, and insecurity, the investment environment has deteriorated, leading the government to implement a new strategy with a strict security policy.

The Council of Ministers approved the 'Private Investment Protection and Promotion Strategy' on March 27, 2025. This strategy, included in point number 60 of the 100 agendas for governance reform, aims to create an environment for uninterrupted business operations by providing complete physical security guarantees to industrialists and businessmen.
