Law Minister Stresses Acceptance of Political Agreements with Genji Group

Kathmandu. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam has stated that all political agreements reached between the previous government and the Genji group must be accepted.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives' Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Minister Gautam clarified that the government has accepted the Genji movement as a people's movement in accordance with the agreement reached between Genji and the Nepal government on December 11, 2025. She emphasized that this historic and political document between the government and the protestors should be accepted by all.
