Parliamentarians Participate in 'One MP, One Sapling' Plantation Program

Kathmandu. A 'One MP, One Sapling' program has been organized with the participation of House of Representatives Speaker DP Aryal, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, and members of parliament. At the program organized on the premises of the under-construction Federal Parliament Building in Singhdarbar, Speaker Aryal, National Assembly Chairman Dahal, and other members of parliament planted various species of fruit and other saplings.

The program has been organized with the objective of making the parliament premises green and environment-friendly and spreading the message of environmental conservation through tree plantation. Participants, including members of parliament, emphasized the need to focus on the conservation and nurturing of the planted saplings, rather than limiting tree plantation to mere formality.
