Universities Postpone Exams Due to Natural Disasters

Kathmandu. The government has directed to postpone all university examinations and other educational activities across the country after natural disasters in Nepal severely affected public life.

Using the authority granted by the existing University Act, Minister of Education and Sports Sashmit Pokharel has directed the Vice-Chancellors of universities to postpone all examinations scheduled to be conducted from Bhadra 13. Furthermore, arrangements have been requested to conduct re-examinations at a suitable time for examinees who could not participate in the examination held on Bhadra 12 due to disasters.
