Tila Rural Municipality Exceeds Revenue Target

Jumla. Tila Rural Municipality has collected more revenue than targeted. The rural municipality has collected more internal revenue than its target, i.e., estimated, in the fiscal year 2081/82. According to the 63rd annual report of the Auditor General, the municipality collected revenue of 26 lakh 17 thousand in that fiscal year. The rural municipality has intensified the implementation of large development plans in the current fiscal year. In this regard, work is being done through the contracts of 12 projects for physical infrastructure construction and road expansion.
Approximately 125 projects under consumer committees are in the final stage of construction, said Dhirendrabikram Thapa, chief of the rural municipality's plan branch. The Auditor General's report mentions that the rural municipality completed a total of 86 projects in the fiscal year 2081/82, including 14 projects above 20 lakh, 61 projects from five lakh to 50 lakh, and 11 projects costing less than five lakh.
