Nepal Oil Corporation Arranges Special Gas Sales Amidst Consumer Crowds

Kathmandu. A large crowd of consumers has gathered at designated locations after Nepal Oil Corporation arranged special sales to solve the problem of cooking gas in the Kathmandu Valley. A long line of consumers wanting to get gas was seen since early morning at the Nepal Oil Corporation's Teku complex and surrounding areas. In coordination with the Nepal Oil Corporation and the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, gas was arranged for distribution from seven different locations in the valley today, Sunday, through gas industrialists. This step has been taken targeting consumers who are unable to get gas from regular vendors and are in urgent need. Gas can be purchased from the designated locations from 11 AM to 5 PM. The corporation has stated that consumers must bring their citizenship or national identity card with them to purchase gas. Gas of Nepal, HP, Everest/Sugam, Shriram and Sagar brands are being distributed from the Teku complex of the corporation. Gas of Nepal, HP and Bhanu brands are available from the Pashu Seva Shakha at Chapali, Budhanilkantha, and gas of Nepal, HP, Everest/Sugam, Shri Krishna, Sai Baba and Shrimaya brands are available from Radhaswami at Kirtipur complex. Similarly, gas of Nepal, HP and Om from Judo Hall complex, New Bazaar, Nepal and HP from Tarkeshwor Municipality complex, Popular, Nepal, HP and Shrimaya from Chandragiri Municipality office, and gas of Nepal, HP, Surya, Sagar, Everest/Sugam and STC brands are being sold from the National Tuberculosis Center in Thimi.
