NRN Urges Nepal Govt to Establish Shelter Houses for Migrant Workers

China. The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has urged the Nepal government to establish 'Shelter Houses' for the rescue and immediate accommodation of Nepali workers facing problems in countries with a large number of Nepali migrant workers.

During the session on 'Safe Foreign Employment and Reintegration' held as part of the NRNA Asia-Pacific Regional Conference, which began in Guangzhou, China on Saturday, participants stated that rescuing and assisting workers becomes difficult when there is no provision for their safe shelter during times of trouble.
