Nepal Electricity Authority's Net Profit Declines Significantly

Kathmandu. Nepal Electricity Authority's net profit has seen a significant decline. According to the financial report of fiscal year 2082/83, the authority's net profit has decreased by 3 billion 87 crore rupees compared to the previous fiscal year.

In the last fiscal year, the authority earned a net profit of only 5 billion 4 crore rupees. In the previous fiscal year 2081/82, the authority's net profit was 8 billion 91 crore rupees. The authority's profit has been continuously declining compared to previous years.
