Koshi Province Government Expanded with New Ministerial Appointments

Biratnagar. The Koshi Province government has been completed with a three-point agreement between the CPN (UML) and the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) to cooperate in running the provincial government. As per the agreement, the CPN formally participated in the government today.

Among the five appointed from the CPN, three are women. From the CPN, Gombu Sherpa has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, Gita Tisina of Social Development, Khinu Langwa Limbu of Tourism, Forest and Environment, and Jeevan Acharya of Physical Infrastructure Development. Similarly, the CPN has sent Sapana Darji to the government as the State Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development.
