Iran Declares 60-Day Talks Irrelevant Due to US Violations

Kathmandu. Iran has stated that the 60-day negotiation period mentioned in the 14-point understanding between America and Iran is no longer relevant, accusing America of seriously violating the understanding within weeks of its signing.
Responding to the expiry of the 60-day period on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghai said that Iran does not set its policy based on external pressure, ultimatums, or deadlines. According to him, the understanding included lifting sanctions and discussing nuclear issues within 60 days, with the possibility of extending the period if no agreement was reached.
