Kathmandu. The government has allocated more than three thousand beds in hospitals across the country for the poor, helpless, and destitute citizens 'free of charge'. However, this facility, which appears in government documents and data for patients, is found to be equally complex and inaccessible when it reaches the hospital beds.
According to the updated data of the Free Health Portal under the Ministry of Health and Population on Monday, 10 percent of the total 30,807 beds nationwide, or 3,080 beds, have been fully allocated free of charge for the poor, helpless, and destitute citizens.
