Viral Hotel Video of Kavrepalanchok Police Officer Sparks Conduct, Privacy Debate

Kathmandu. A video showing a police Sub-Inspector in a hotel room with a woman late at night has gone viral on social media, prompting questions over the officer’s conduct as well as the woman’s right to privacy.

Ganesh Kumar Shrestha, in-charge of the police post in Bhakundebesi, Ward No. 4 of Namobuddha Municipality, Kavrepalanchok, is seen in the video inside a hotel room with the woman. The video was recorded by locals who entered the room with a police team and subsequently shared it on social media.
