Lalitpur Court Seeks More Documents Before Deciding on Arrest Warrant for Journalist Kishor Shrestha

Kathmandu. The Lalitpur District Court has asked police to submit additional documents before deciding whether to issue an arrest warrant for journalist Kishor Shrestha, following a complaint filed by Deputy Speaker Ruby Kumari Thakur.

Police had approached the court seeking permission to arrest Shrestha, editor-in-chief of Jana Astha Weekly. However, the court returned the file, saying the documents and supporting materials submitted by police were incomplete.
