Division Forest Office Rescues 69 Wild Animals in Past Fiscal Year

Chitwan. The Division Forest Office has rescued and managed 69 wild animals in the last fiscal year. These wild animals were rescued and managed from various places within the Division Forest Office area.
According to the chief of the office, Bishnu Prasad Acharya, the largest number of pythons were rescued in the forest area. 45 pythons that entered settlements and caused trouble to the locals have been rescued and managed. Similarly, four deer, three red pandas, three dhaman snakes, two crocodiles, two peacocks, and two owls were rescued. Monkeys, clouded leopards, sambar deer, civets, leopards, wild boars, turtles, and barn owls – one each – were rescued and managed.
