South Korea Halts US Military Drill Early After US Request

Seoul. Following a request from the United States, South Korea has announced that it will conclude its annual joint military exercise with the US six days early.

According to the South Korean Ministry of Defense, the duration and scale of the '2026 Ulchi Freedom Shield' exercise have been reduced following a proposal from the US side.
