CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) Agree on Karnali Province Government Portfolio Distribution

Surkhet. An agreement has been reached between the Nepali Communist Party (CPN) and the CPN-UML regarding the share of the Karnali Province government. A six-point agreement has been reached between the provincial parliamentary parties of the two parties.

According to the agreement, the CPN will take the Chief Minister and the Office of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment.
