Rastriya Prajatantra Party Supports New Government Formation in Bagmati Province

Kathmandu. Finally, Rastriya Prajatantra Party has supported the formation of a new government in Bagmati Province. After an agreement was reached for RPP's 12 lawmakers to support the formation of the provincial government, Kiran Thapa Magar of UML has staked a claim for Chief Minister.

Thapa staked his claim with the support of 63 lawmakers for the formation of the government as per Article 168 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal. Thapa, who became the candidate for Chief Minister from UML, staked his claim on Wednesday for the formation of the government with the support of 63 lawmakers, including 25 from UML, 26 from CPN (Maoist Centre), and 12 from RPP.
