Fog-Harvesting Technology Brings New Hope for Water-Scarce Village in Okhaldhunga

Kathmandu. A fog-harvesting system has been installed in Khijidemba Rural Municipality of Okhaldhunga, offering a potential solution to the long-standing water shortage in a remote mountain settlement.

The technology, developed by The Small Earth Nepal over more than 18 months with financial support from the International Climate Initiative (IKI), was handed over to the rural municipality last week.
