Pakistan Government to Challenge Court Order on Imran Khan's Hospital Transfer

Islamabad. The Pakistani government is going to the court for review against the Supreme Court's order to shift former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is in jail, to a private hospital. Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar gave this information through video.

The Supreme Court had ordered officials on Tuesday to shift the 73-year-old Khan to Shifa International Hospital, a private hospital in the capital Islamabad, within two days. The court had also directed to form a medical panel comprising Khan's personal physician, a cardiologist, and an ophthalmologist.
