UAE Imposes Indefinite Trade Embargo on Iran

Kathmandu. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has imposed an indefinite trade embargo on Iran. This step has been taken alleging that two ballistic missiles were fired.

Issuing a statement on Wednesday morning, the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the increasing tension that undermines peace and security in the region. 'All trade, business exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran are suspended until further notice,' the statement said.
