Shahi wins confidence vote to lead Karnali government

The Nepali Communist Party leader secured 21 votes in the 40-member provincial assembly, with 13 lawmakers voting against him and two remaining neutral.
Karnali Province Chief Minister Mangal Bahadur Shahi has secured a vote of confidence from the provincial assembly, three weeks after taking office.
