Five-Year-Old Girl Undergoes Successful Liver Transplant in Nepal

Lalitpur. A five-year-old girl has undergone a successful liver transplant at KIST Teaching Hospital in Imadol.< /p>

The KIST Transplant Center performed a living donor liver transplant on August 18 (Bhadra 2) from a 33-year-old mother to her five-year-old daughter, informed hospital Managing Director Dr. Abhishek Thapa. According to him, this is an important achievement in terms of the development of pediatric liver transplant services in Nepal.< /p>
