Protest Held in Maitighar Demanding Justice for Garima Chaudhary

Kathmandu. A protest was held in Maitighar, Kathmandu, demanding justice for the rape and murder of three-year-old girl Garima Chaudhary of Jitpursimra Sub-Metropolitan City-1 in Bara. Independent youths protested in Maitighar demanding the strictest action against those involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, the Birgunj-Pathlaiya road section has been blocked for two days in protest of the girl's murder. Due to the protest, community and institutional schools in Jitpursimra remained closed on Thursday, and hundreds of cargo vehicles released from Birgunj customs have been stranded on the road for two days.
