Kiran Thapa Appointed Chief Minister of Bagmati Province

Hetauda. According to the latest political equation, Kiran Thapa has been appointed as the Chief Minister of Bagmati Province with the joint support of CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre), and RPP. Newly appointed Chief Minister Thapa has stated that he is resolutely moving forward for the political stability, good governance, and future direction of the province.

According to him, he will not continue the old disease of Nepali politics of increasing the number of ministries to reconcile power-sharing among the ruling parties. Chief Minister Thapa clarified that the government is committed to adopting frugality by maintaining the decision to reduce the number of ministries to 8. He said that he will move forward with the responsibility of fulfilling the aspirations of the province's residents for development and prosperity.
