Two Players Depart for 11th World Hapkido Championship in South Korea

Kathmandu. The Nepali team to play in the 11th World Hapkido Championship has departed for South Korea on Thursday. 2 players will present Nepal's challenge in the competition to be held on August 22. Deepak Chhantyal in men's 80-84 kg and Magma Gurung in women's 48-52 kg will compete. Magma had won silver in the last edition held in Thailand, informed Nepal Hapkido Association Chairman Kalibahadur Gharti Magar. The World Hapkido Championship is held at an interval of 2 years. Players were bid farewell by National Sports Council (NSC) Member-Secretary Ramcharitra Mehta and NSC Executive Committee Member Pawan Shahi in a program on Thursday itself.
