Two-and-a-Half-Storey House Topples After Ground Sinks in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: A two-and-a-half-storey house in Kathmandu’s Bansbari area toppled after the ground beneath it sank.

The house, owned by Hari Shrestha, was being operated as New Gandaki Guest House by Nar Bahadur Bam of Darchula. The structure tilted and eventually toppled, coming to rest against a bamboo grove on the hillside.
