Nepal’s trade deficit rises 24.88% despite a surge in exports by 61.72%

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Nepal’s foreign trade saw a significant improvement in exports in the first month of the current fiscal year (FY 2026/27), although the trade deficit widened due to the continued rise in volume of imports.
