Four months sees more than 5,000 disaster incidents with 250 casualties

Kathmandu, Aug 22: More than 5,000 disaster-related incidents have occurred in different parts of the country in the past four months, which has taken the lives of 250 people.

During the period, a total of 5,014 disaster incidents have occurred where 1,607 have been injured and eight have gone missing. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), 6,272 families were affected by disasters during the period.
