Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma States Party Convention Cannot Be Postponed Beyond November

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma has stated that the party's general convention cannot be postponed beyond November. Speaking at a program organized in memory of the late Pradip Giri on Saturday, he said that Congress has no constitutional and legal basis to postpone the convention beyond November.

He said that internal disputes should be resolved through dialogue rather than postponing the convention. He stated that they are ready to resolve the disputes within Congress. He urged the disgruntled leaders to come to the party office and choose the path of dialogue and consensus rather than going to court.
