Trump Vows Iran Will Never Obtain Nuclear Weapons, Declares Strait of Hormuz 'American Territory'

Washington DC. US President Donald Trump has said that Iran should never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. Al Jazeera reported that amid growing tensions between Washington and Tehran, he described the Strait of Hormuz as 'American territory'.

Addressing a rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Trump said, 'We cannot let them have nuclear weapons, otherwise you will see very bad consequences.' He clarified that even if Iran wanted to make a deal, Washington would not accept a deal contrary to its terms.
