Kathmandu, Aug 23: Nepal Eye Hospital recently conducted a free eye camp at Nakhu Prison, where 1,226 individuals, including inmates, prison staff, and senior citizens, received eye examinations.
The camp specifically tested 907 inmates, identifying various eye conditions such as cataracts and visual impairments. The hospital’s CEO, Dharmaraj Gosain, reported that 20 individuals were diagnosed with cataracts, and 421 received necessary eye medications.
