Singer Yam Baral Expresses Concern Over State's Indifference Towards Artists

Kathmandu. Popular singer of Nepali pop music Yam Baral has expressed dissatisfaction and concern over the state's indifference towards artists. Baral, who has been actively involved in the Nepali music scene for over three decades and has even lent his voice to the national anthem 'Sayam Thunga Phoolka Hami', expressed this concern through a post on social media.

Stating that his contribution has not been valued, he has alerted everyone to the possibility that artists may have to sell their homes and land for treatment when they fall ill.
