Documentary 'Road to Everest' Premieres in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Raj Gurung, who is over 50 years old, resides in Hong Kong. Despite being established in business, he harbors a strong desire - to climb the world's highest peak, Sagarmatha. It is said that age can be a barrier to difficult and adventurous tasks. However, Raj's mind is filled with the thought of powerfully breaking this notion.

Challenging age and his own limitations, he prepares to fulfill the difficult dream of reaching the world's highest peak located in his own country. He undergoes training necessary for mountaineering and climbs various mountains with less altitude than Sagarmatha. After gaining the necessary experience, he embarks on his journey to Sagarmatha. His journey is accompanied by experienced Sagarmatha climbers Furbha Tenzing Sherpa and Karma Gyalzen Sherpa. Nirmal Shrestha and some other climbers are also included in this team.
