Man Drowns in Birgunj

Birgunj. A person has died due to drowning in a river. Police said that Brahmadev Raut Ahir, about 60 years old, a resident of Bahudarmai Municipality-1, died due to drowning while going to graze buffaloes in the Dhongahi river of Bindhyabasini Rural Municipality-2.

After receiving information from locals that he was missing in the river, a joint team comprising a disaster management team under the command of Armed Police Deputy Superintendent Sanjay Regmi from Pokhariya Security Base and a team from Area Police Office Pokhariya under the command of Police Inspector Pradip Poudel found Brahmadev's body.
