Kathmandu. Businesses have locked two manpower companies, accusing them of starting a syndicate by listing only 25 manpower companies for employment in Malaysia. A team of businessmen led by the association's chairman, Dik Bahadur Khatri, went to the offices of the two listed manpower companies on Sunday and locked them. The companies that were locked are Asia Link Services and Trust Nepal Overseas Manpower. After the lockdown, at a press conference, Chairman Khatri said that this step was a symbolic protest against the syndicate. "We have taken this step to warn our member organizations not to engage in wrongdoings," Khatri said, "This is a warning to those who try to monopolize by being on the list of 25 companies." Chairman Khatri said that although businessmen always fight for diplomatic and policy reforms, in some situations, it has become necessary to take physical action. He said, "Today, without wearing a tie and suit, we have gone to the manpower companies in our capacity as businessmen to warn our friends. Becoming a partner in a syndicate means collapsing the entire foreign employment sector."
