83 New HIV Cases Found at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj

Nepalgunj. New HIV patients have been found at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj. At the end of the financial year 2082/83, 83 new patients were confirmed after HIV testing. That year, seven thousand 805 people underwent HIV testing.

Hospital's HIV 'Focalperson' Dr. Sanketkumar Risal informed that the infected were provided with prompt ART service. The hospital has stated that it is operating services by prioritizing the identification of HIV-infected individuals, continuity of treatment, prevention of infection, and minimization of the possibility of transmission from mother to child.
