Deuba and Khadka File Separate Petitions at Supreme Court to Halt Nepali Congress 15th General Convention

Kathmandu. Former President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Congress leader Purna Bahadur Khadka have filed separate writ petitions at the Supreme Court to stop the Nepali Congress's 15th General Convention. Both individuals submitted their writ petitions through their representatives.
According to Supreme Court Joint Registrar and Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, two writs have been received. "Two writs of different natures related to the Congress General Convention have arrived," Spokesperson Koirala told Ratopati, "Sher Bahadur Deuba has filed a writ demanding the postponement of the General Convention, while Purna Bahadur Khadka has filed a writ as a supplementary petition to be kept together with the previous review case." The writs are currently under study, informed Spokesperson Koirala.
