Court Case Filed to Rescind Appointment of Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar

Hetauda. A case has been filed in the High Court Hetauda bench demanding the cancellation of the appointment of Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar. An order of certiorari writ was filed in the High Court Hetauda bench on Bhadra 5.

The writ has been scheduled for hearing in the single bench of High Court Patan Hetauda bench Justice Babita Upreti, and the hearing is currently ongoing. Advocate Mohan Prasad Dhakal and Kumari Tamang, Chief Whip of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Bagmati Province Assembly Parliamentary Party, have filed separate orders of certiorari writs, claiming that the process of Chief Minister Thapa's appointment was against the constitution.
