Police Constable Arrested for Viral Video of Minor Rape and Murder Accused

Birgunj. A police constable has been arrested on charges of making a video of the accused in the rape and murder of a three-year-old girl in Simara, Bara, viral on social media.

When the things asked during the investigation on Monday morning suddenly went viral on social media, Bara police took into custody their own police constable Kumar BK after an investigation. It has been revealed from the investigation that BK, who is posted in Bara district, sent the video to his friends on Messenger, and from there it went viral on social media. Bara Police Chief Narendra Kunwar said that BK has been taken into custody for further investigation on the charge of violating the right to privacy. The police have stated that he is currently being kept in the custody of the District Police Office Bara and the investigation is being carried forward. The police were being criticized after a video of the 16-year-old boy arrested on charges of rape and murder of the girl giving a statement about the incident was made public.
