CPN (UML) and Congress Face Power Struggle, Province Faces Dissolution Risk

Biratnagar. Indra Bahadur Angbo, the leader of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Koshi Province Parliamentary Party, said that the party joined the government because of the power struggle between UML and Congress, which created a crisis of whether the province would head towards dissolution.

Speaking during the discussion on the proposal to seek a vote of confidence placed by Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki in the Provincial Assembly meeting on Monday, Angbo said that all democratic forces must unite because the federal government led by RPP is trying to attack the constitution, achievements, and democracy itself.
