Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Khagendra Sunar has demanded the implementation of a law to shoot rapists and corrupt individuals on the spot. He emphasized that the government must ensure women's respect, security, and right to life. Presenting a list of incidents from east to west, he said, 'Some time ago, Samjhana Kami in Bajhang, Nirmala Pant in Kanchanpur, Maya Kami in Kailali, Angira Pasi in Rupandehi, Reshmika Pariyar in Khotang, and Mina Pariyar in Myagdi were raped and murdered. And just a few days ago, Garima Chaudhary was raped and murdered. This list of rape and murder can be narrated at great length.' Speaking in parliament, he expressed the view that Garima's dignity should be protected and an environment should be created where daughters can dance and live without fear. 'I call for the immediate implementation of a law to shoot on the spot if rapists and corrupt individuals are proven,' said MP Sunar. He clarified that the government should not compromise in any way on serious crimes like rape and corruption.
