Iran Parliament Approves Charging Fees for Ships Transiting Strait of Hormuz

Tehran. Iran's parliament has passed a proposal to collect fees from ships transiting the strategically important waterway 'Strait of Hormuz'.

The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament approved the proposal to levy fees on ships using the waterway at a meeting held on Sunday.
