Six of Eight Containers Released After Customs Verification at Korala Border

Kathmandu. Six out of eight containers that entered through the Korala border, Nepal-China border, have been released. The police had taken suspicious containers under control from Jomsom, the headquarters of Mustang, on Shrawan 30.
The Department of Revenue Investigation released six containers after investigation. Narendra Prakash Pandey, acting director general of the Department of Revenue Investigation, informed that the six containers were handed over to the respective importers after it was found that the customs check pass was verified. The containers taken under control by the police on suspicion were found to contain goods such as roll cloth, plastic utensils, and covers for passing machines.
