Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki Secures Third Vote of Confidence

Biratnagar. Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has received a vote of confidence for the third time from the Koshi Provincial Assembly. He received 57 votes in favor of the motion of confidence he proposed.

Similarly, 22 votes were cast against the proposal, while the number of MPs who said they would not vote was 4. The vote received by Chief Minister Karki is more than the majority of 47 in the 92-member Provincial Assembly. 83 MPs participated in the vote division. Jaspa MP Nirmala Limbu was absent from the Provincial Assembly.
