Motorcycle Accident Claims One Life in Mahendranagar

Mahendranagar. One person has died in a motorcycle accident. Goursingh Mahara died this morning on the East-West Highway in Sisaiya, Bedkot Municipality-6. Police have stated that Mahara, 60, of Sundarpur, Bedkot Municipality-9, who was riding motorcycle number Se 3 Pa 5274, died. The motorcycle, driven by Gaganasingh Mahara, 40, of Bedkot Municipality-9, lost control and hit pedestrian Yagya Thagunna, 21, of Ajayameru Rural Municipality-5, Dadeldhura, who was injured. Mahara, who was seriously injured in the accident, was sent to Dhangadhi for further treatment after treatment at Mahakali Provincial Hospital, informed Virendrasingh Thapa, Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur. Thapa said, "The motorcycle driver son and the deceased Mahara are father/son." Police are further investigating the incident.
