Supreme Court Issues Show Cause Order on Medical Entrepreneur Durga Prasai's 'Undeclared House Arrest'

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has issued a show cause order to the police regarding the issue of medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai being kept under 'undeclared house arrest' without being allowed to leave his home.

The police had stopped Prasai at his residence in Bhaktapur for the past few days, citing his potential participation in the protest of microfinance victims and the possibility of disturbing peace and security.
