Koshi Province Chief Presented with National Dalit Commission's Fifth Annual Report

Morang. The fifth annual report of the National Dalit Commission has been submitted to the Province Chief of Koshi Province, Parshuram Khapung. Commission Chairman Devraj Bishwakarma submitted the fifth annual (FY 2081/82) report to Province Chief Khapung in accordance with Article 294, Sub-article (3) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Chief Khapung expressed the view that the strict implementation of the law is necessary to end discrimination against the Dalit community. Commission member Sundar Purkoti emphasized that the three-tier government must strictly implement the current laws to end discrimination and untouchability against Dalits.
