Free Eye Check-up Camp Detects Cataracts in Dang

Dang. Arjun Acharya of Haripauri, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-12, had been suffering from blurred vision for a long time. He had never had his eyes checked before. However, when he got checked at the health camp organized at the ward office of Tulsipur-12 on Monday, he was found to have cataracts. "My vision was blurry before, but I hadn't been able to get it tested," he said, "Now that I've been tested, it turns out I have cataracts, and they have called me for surgery today."

Battkya Chaudhary of Haripauri also had a problem of poor vision in his left eye. Doctors advised that eye also needs surgery. He said that he was able to get his eyes checked because such a camp was organized in the village.
