Kathmandu Valley Mayors Forum to Meet Prime Minister on Waste Management

Kathmandu. The network of local level chiefs, deputy chiefs, village chairpersons and vice-chairpersons within the Kathmandu Valley, 'Kathmandu Valley Mayors Forum', has decided to meet Prime Minister Balen Shah and apprise him of contemporary issues including waste management.< /p>

An emergency meeting of the Forum held on Tuesday decided to seek an appointment with Prime Minister Shah as soon as possible to draw his attention to issues such as waste management, street light fee management, land possession rights used by local levels, and land management for waste management.< /p>
